Peter Pan is Retiring ...
Peter on his ST1300 Pan European

Our very own Peter Pan is retiring. Many of you will know Peter Wardle who for the past few years has spent countless hours both here at the Hunts showroom and out on the road, whether accompanying test rides or delivering bikes to new owners.

Peter had a long career as a motorcycle Policeman with the Stockport force and rarely misses a day without being out on his Pan European, still clocking up thousands of miles each year both in the UK and on the Continent. He is also an active member of the Blue Knights motorcycle club and takes part in many of their activities including charity runs and ride outs.

Peter tells us that he is looking forward to having more time to spend with his daughter and new Grandson though he certainly isn't giving up the biking. We suspect that he will be clocking up more miles now than ever!

Thank you Peter from all of us here at Hunts. We're going to miss you mate!

I first met Pete about 10 years ago at Hunts and liked him straight away. He has a very positive attitude to life and loves his biking. In fact I don't think I have ever seen him driving a car. We share a passion for the biking roads in Scotland, and I know he is planning on moving up to Orkney to be with his daughter and Grandson. I hope and pray that I am still riding at 80 as well as Pete does. He can still teach people a few things about riding a bike. He also has a very nice way with people, and has been able to support the whole team at Hunts in developing what is probably the best Honda dealership in the north west, if not the whole country.

This will be Pete's third retirement from various jobs/roles he has done. Enjoy everything you do in the future, Pete. We will miss you.

Best wishes to Pete on his retirement, yes I agree he is a great bloke and I will still have the pleasure of riding with him on the Blue Knights events.

Happy retirement Pete.

Paul Carter

Good luck Pete and enjoy the rest. You have been an inspiration to many bikers old and new. Your knowledge of touring on two wheels has helped so many people make their own memorable trips.

A true gentleman.

John Morrison

The man is an inspiration - all the very best to you Peter.

Gary McDonough, Liverpool

Went out for a test ride with you, what a nice bloke, all the best for the future! Best regards
