Motorcycle Delivery from Hunts Motorcycles Ltd

If you choose to have your motorcycle delivered rather than collecting it from our showroom, certain terms apply to ensure a safe and transparent transaction. Please review the following details carefully:

Verification for Delivery:

To help prevent fraud, we deliver to your home address. We may ask you to verify your address before delivery takes place.

On-Delivery Inspection:

Once your motorcycle arrives, it is essential that you inspect its condition thoroughly. By signing for the delivery, you confirm acceptance of the vehicle’s current state, and any issues not identified at that time will not be our liability. If you are in any way unhappy with your purchase you have the right to reject the delivery by informing our representative and contacting our sales or administration departments on 0161-432 1303. We will then arrange a full refund, minus the cost of delivery.

Cooling-Off Period:

You benefit from a 14‑day cooling-off period starting on the day your motorcycle is delivered. During this time, you have the right to reconsider your purchase.

Cancellation Process:

If you decide to cancel, please inform us in writing within the 14‑day period. Once we acknowledge your cancellation, we will contact you to arrange the return of the motorcycle.

Return Window:

After acknowledging your cancellation, you must return the motorcycle within 14 days.

Refund Timeline:

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned motorcycle, your refund will be processed within 14 days.

Additional Terms and Conditions

Delivery Scheduling & Costs:

Delivery will occur at a mutually agreed time and location. If you are unable to accept the delivery when scheduled, you will be responsible for the associated delivery costs and any fees incurred from rescheduling. In case of cancellation, these costs will be deducted from your refund.

Responsibility for the Motorcycle:

Once you accept delivery, the motorcycle becomes your responsibility. Even if you cancel during the cooling‑off period, liability remains with you until we have confirmed receipt of the returned motorcycle. Any damage that was not recorded at the time of delivery will be charged to you and subtracted from your refund.

Mileage Limitations:

For a full refund, the motorcycle must not exceed an additional 100 miles beyond the recorded delivery mileage. Each mile over this limit will incur a charge of £1.00, which will be deducted from your refund.

Non‑Refundable Delivery Charges:

Any delivery charges applied as part of your order will not be refunded. In addition, if you incur extra collection costs because you are unable to return the motorcycle directly, these will also be deducted from your refund. We will always advise you of any potential charges before arranging collection, and no steps will be taken without your prior consent.

Inspection Before Refund:

Your refund will only be processed after our team has inspected and formally accepted the returned motorcycle. If any deductions are necessary, we will inform you of the amounts before finalising the refund.

These terms and conditions are provided in addition to your statutory rights and do not affect them
